What is Futsal?

Futsal is the only FIFA and NZ Football approved version of five-aside football and the world’s fastest-growing indoor sport. Futsal is a small-sided – 5v5 – game played with a smaller low bounce ball, on a court without rebound walls or nets. It is a game that combines fun, creativity, speed, technique, teamwork and quick thinking. NZF Futsal has been designed to complement New Zealand Football’s existing programmes and promote and improve participation in football in New Zealand.  All you need is the right attitude, soft soled shoes, long socks & shin pads to play one of the fastest growing indoor sports in NZ.​​​​​​​

Central Football is excited to announce a Futsal competition for term 4

Where:  Jubilee Stadium Hall
When:  Mondays  4pm - 9pm (Times will be dependent on number of entries)
Dates: 8 Game Nights (1 Game per night) – starting on 14th October and finish on 2nd December. (including the 28th October - Monday night of Labour weekend.)
Cost: $320 per team

We are hoping to run the below Leagues: (running these Leagues will depend on entry numbers.)

Leagues:

  • Year 3/ 4 mixed
  • Year 5/6 mixed

  • Year 7/8 mixed

  • Year 7/8 Girls Only

  • Year 9/10 mixed
  • Year 11/13 mixed
  • Senior social mixed
  • Senior Men's

  • Senior women's

Entries close when capacity is reached or no later than 5pm 4th October 2024. (Late Entries may not be accepted)

Payment is due  before the start of the leagues, this will be strictly enforced for 2024.
